This is the battery backed up version of 370L series of smokes. Your                                                                                                                                    
smoke is over 10 years old, and should have been replaced, or died.                                                                                                                                     
This smoke is a direct sub for some DICON models with respect to the                                                                                                                                    
mounting bezel and electrical hookup. This Model has a 9 volt battery                                                                                                                                   
which is included, such that the smoke works when the power is out.                                                                                                                                     
I like the idea. This is the U.S. model number for those of you in the                                                                                                                                  
States. The Canadian model number is SA379. Same unit, different sound                                                                                                                                  
pattern. If you are in the US, the best cost ratio to freight is a box                                                                                                                                  
of 6. 10 year warranty, takes about a week for them to arrive at your                                                                                                                                   
door.
