This is the first part of a two piece system that allows you to send                                                                                                                                    
IR signals from room to room. This unit receives the IR signal and                                                                                                                                      
converts it to RF. The RF is then sent to a PEX03 that converts the                                                                                                                                     
signal back to IR. An IR extender can be used to scatter the signal                                                                                                                                     
into a stereo cabinet - PEX04. This is the same as the X-10 PowerMid                                                                                                                                    
PM5900. Great little unit, but is subject to picking up stray RF                                                                                                                                        
signals, which causes the LED on board to flash.
